The 2026 Stage I paper contains 20 single-correct Part A items and 20 true-or-false Part B items.
Part A uses +2/−1/0. Part B uses +2/−2/0, so an unsupported Part B guess has a materially different downside.
The official instructions state that the TIFR CAM Integrated PhD route is evaluated on Part A only; other covered mathematics routes answer both parts.
Candidates should not merge this GS Mathematics Stage I paper with the separately identified CAM Mathematics PhD examination.
